Boots and Bedlam by Ashley Farley is the third book in the Sweeney sisters series. It's a story about a family with three sisters that live in the Lowcountry in South Carolina. This particular book is mainly about Sam, the middle sister, and what is going on in her chaotic life. Let me just say, there is never a dull moment.You could probably just read this one book and get away with it, but I really recommend you read them all in order. By doing so you would get the full understanding of everything that's taken place and how everyone relates to each other in the story. The author covers many different topics, and that's what makes these books so easy to relate to. When you are done reading, you will feel like you actually know these characters, like they are close friends or family. I have really enjoyed the Sweeney sisters and look forward to seeing what the author has planned for them next.

I love the Sweeney Sisters series. And this one didn't disappoint. They always have a good mix of family, romance and mystery. This one didn't disappoint by ending with a cliffhanger. I'm ready for the next one.
When I first started reading this book I thought Samantha will never make up her mind and I truly felt sorry for her for letting such a wonderful man go. Then when the new caterer came Into town and started focusing on the Sweeny's I just knew who she would end up being and I was right. Now I can't wait to read the next book.
I'm enjoying this series more than any in a long time. The characters are so well written. The depth she puts into the story of each sister is amazing. There is a love story, suspense and a Christmas wedding. Though they are far from perfect, this family's love for each other is beautiful & so fun to read....fantastic !!!
Its hard to close the book when the lives of these sisters, their family, and their friends continues to be so compelling. I hated to come to the end of this one just as I mourned the conclusion of the two previous books in this series. Thanks so much to Ashley Farley for creating these characters to entertain us in the "Low Country" at Christmas. I have been in South Carolina during a rare snowstorm. Its magical, and so was this story.
I couldn’t put it down...loved the weaving of the sisters and family, they each have two sides and talents . And the men are what every woman would cherish and love to have...wisdom,strong but soft sides to them... Lovie typical mother type...loved the story, thank you..what’s next for Jamie and Annie? Keep on writing and I will keep on buying.......!
I really enjoyed the third book in the Sweeney Sisters saga. Here I am chugging along, tears flowing down my face as I read about the wedding, when I'm suddenly thrown into a state of shock! I love it when you're reading a book and suddenly gasp in amazement.

Love this series and the author's ability to pull you into the lives of the characters and have you invested in what they are experiencing.
I dearly love this author. Once again she has lured me into the story as I fall in love again with the Sweeney Sisters. This story is centered more around Sam and all the adventures and troubles of getting around Christmas especially with the seafood market to still run and Jamie bringing home a guest for Christmas break. The story ends with a twist and I do hope that Ashley Farley is already writing the next part of this story. How long are you going to keep us in suspense??? What am I suppose to read now????
