This is probably my favorite book in the mini-series. Maybe I'm naive, but I found the ending very unexpected and liked the way things rounded out. I did take a little bit of issue with the legality of the situation, but then again, can you really argue what can and can't be when you're dealing with a fake society on an impossible island?

I feel as if this series improved as the books progressed. The first one was a guilty pleasure that made me cringe (ugh, the words lip-kissing?) but this one was a fun, fast read. It kept me wanting more, which is probably the point in case the author ever decided to continue the series or start a spin-off.

What I want to know is this, though - it first seemed as if all the characters were supposed to be in high school. Later in the series, it seemed like the ages were more varied. Did anyone else read that or am I confused?

I thought that this book was absolutely AMAZING! I finished the whole series within 2 weeks! I was absolutely hooked, and i just couldn't stop reading. I rated this book with 5 stars because i is funny, intriguing, and the quality of the writing was absolutely, undeniably, and utterly incredible. I insist that you read this book, it might just be the highlight of your week. Also, you should read the rest of the series. 5 stars, no question about it. )
Did not anticipate the ending at all and it is very unique in that nature. However, I feel that overall while this book nicely finishes off the Alphas series I couldn't help, but feel an unfinished feel. Perhaps if there had been another book before this book in the series it would be like this, but it gave off an air of being rushed. Technically it's good, but there's just something missing and it's a gap too big to be ignored.
